Hypnosis – it’s all a bit “woo woo” isn’t it?
Actually no it isn't. Hypnosis is backed by scientific research and is increasingly being embraced in conventional medical practices. Both the British Psychological Society and the American Psychological Association acknowledge hypnosis as a powerful and effective tool. As a registered health professional and a member of the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis, I am committed to keeping abreast of the latest developments in my field.
Our brain is confined within a dark box, and entirely reliant on information from our senses that is handled at an estimated rate of over 12 million bits of data every second! This means that almost all of what happens in our brain is beyond our conscious awareness. This is essential because we would struggle to function if we had to be aware of every single detail being processed.
In fact, we are only consciously aware of about 60 bits of information per second, which we believe influences our decisions and behaviours.

In truth, the choices we make daily are determined by our unconscious mind long before we become consciously aware of them.
True hypnosis is not something that is done to you; it is a collaborative process where both of us play active roles. It can vary from a transformative conversation, where you remain fully aware of everything being discussed, to a profound trance state, with infinite variations in between. The remarkable aspect of this process is that you maintain control over it, no matter what occurs.
I have a pragmatic approach to hypnosis, using proven technologies and methodologies, supported by NLP and CBT, for fast and effective results.
No two people are alike; so no two sessions should be alike.
All sessions are carried out using an online video calling platform and each session is tailored to work with your individual processes to meet your needs.
